2. What You Need to Know
When you apply for CIBA membership you’ll be asked to upload specific documents. These documents are used to:
Verify your identity.
Confirm your qualifications and work experience.
Support compliance with SAQA, SARS, and other regulators.
According to the CIBA Membership Application page and the Join CIBA membership information, the most important documents are a certified copy of your ID/Passport and an updated CV.

4. What to Upload
Certified copy of your ID or Passport (required).
Updated CV (use CIBA’s downloadable CV template if needed).
5. How to Apply
Log in to your CIBA Member Portal.
Go to My Information or My Applications, depending on what you’re applying for.
Select the correct document type (ID, CV, qualification, etc.).
Click Upload, choose your file (PDF), and confirm certification where required.
Save your updates and check that the file appears under your profile.
6. Common Mistakes to Avoid
Uploading uncertified or blurry ID copies.
