They help members navigate complex processes,  from updating profiles and renewing memberships to understanding CPD, designations, or reinstatements. 

Contacting the correct team ensures your query is resolved quickly and recorded for reference under CIBA’s Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards.

  1. Prepare your details before contacting the team: 

    • Your Full Name 

    • CIBA Membership Number 

    • A short summary of your query 

    • Any supporting documents or screenshots (if applicable). 

  2. Choose one of the following contact methods: 

    • Telephone: +27 (12) 643 1800 (available Monday–Friday, 07:30–16:00) 

    • Support Ticket: Log a query via the Member Portal under My Communications → My Ticket. 

  3. Select the correct category (e.g., Membership, Compliance, Designations, New Applications, Billing) when logging a ticket to ensure it reaches the right specialist. 

  4. Await an acknowledgment email confirming your ticket reference number. 

  5. The Member Advisory Team will review and respond to your query within the SLA timeframe.
