3. Step-by-Step Instructions
Register as a CIBA member.
Obtain the relevant CIBA designation aligned to your area of specialisation — for example:
CBK, CFAdmin, or CBAC for the Tax Practitioner specialisation
CBAP for Independent Review or Business Rescue specialisation
Confirm the minimum years requirements post-designation experience.
Log in to CPD.MYCIBA Platform for other licenses except the Tax Practitioner Specialist license (You may apply for this license directly on your membership profile)
Select “Become a Specialist” and choose your license area.
Pick your assessment path:
Assessment only
Assessment + Study material
Assessment + Study material + Tuition
Pay the required license and assessment fee.
Complete your assessment before the expiry date
