The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) self-service technology was first offered to the Southern African Institute for Business Accountants (CIBA) to pilot test this latest technology. CIBA got this opportunity in November 2015. These services include:

  1. Private company registrations
  2. Company director amendments
  3. Close Corporation member amendments
  4. Annual returns
  5. Name reservation
  6. Auditor changes
  7. Companies and Close Corporation address changes
  8. Companies and Close Corporation financial year-end changes
  9. Certificates: paid and fee disclosures, memorandums of incorporation, B-BBEE certificates, Approved names, Person disclosure
  10. Enterprise enquiries
  11. Customer transactions declining balance
  12. Balance enquiries
  13. Transaction status enquiries

The purpose of the agreement is to roll out the self-service technology to individuals and legal persons.
