For only R1360 per annum, you can join the CIBA community, which is:
Click here to Join as a CIBA Associate member, which is your first step towards obtaining the BAP (SA) designation. Pay R1360 membership fee (once off for all designation holders) to activate your membership profile. Apply for a designation within your profile and submit all the relevant documents required to assess your application. One of our consultants will be in contact with you upon receipt of your application to assist where needed.

Yes, you will receive your PDF certificate via email. We are no longer sending certificates as we are consciously making efforts to minimise our environment footprint by working towards a paperless environment and better use of technology.
If you have made a payment on your account that is not reflecting on your statement, please send your proof of payment to accounts@saiba.org.za with the subject line "Payment to be allocated: (your membership number)"

The APL is a self-assessment that all CIBA members with the designation BAP(SA) are required to complete annually. The APL tests the BAP(SA)’s awareness and basic knowledge of the standards required to manage an accounting practice, and provide professional services to clients. CIBA has two invoice cycles: July and January. If you are registered as a member during the period May – October, your membership, designation and licence fees will be due and payable on or before 8 July of each year.
Alternatively, if you are registered as a member during the period November – April, your membership, designation and licence fees will be due and payable on or before 8 January of each year.
