If your membership has lapsed due to non-payment or non-compliance, you can reinstate it by meeting CIBA’s reinstatement requirements.
Doing so ensures you:Recover your professional designation and SAQA recognition.
Regain access to CPD, practice licences, Membership Certificate, Letters of Good Standing, and other CIBA Rewards.
Avoid starting a new application process from scratch.
Failure to reinstate within the prescribed period may mean you need to apply as a new member.
3. Step-by-Step Instructions
Log into your CIBA profile on the Member Portal.
Navigate to Billing and check all outstanding invoices.
Pay invoices in full or request a payment arrangement if eligible.
Download and complete the Reinstatement Form (provided by Membership Support).
Upload the completed form to your profile or email it to Membership Support.
Submit your Annual Declaration online.
Update your CPD record (Depending on a type of membership).
Await confirmation from CIBA that your membership has been reinstated to Good Standing.
Once reinstated, download your updated Membership Certificate and resume your benefits.
