Step-by-step guide to resetting your CIBA portal password when you've forgotten it or need to start fresh.
1. How to Reset Your Password
2. Quick Overview (What This Is & Why It Matters)
If you can’t log in because you forgot your password, you can use the reset process to set a new one. This ensures your account remains secure and accessible while upholding CIBA’s privacy and security protocols.
Without reset access, you’ll be unable to access member-only features, compliance tools, CPD logs, or certificates
3. Step-by-Step Instructions
Go to the CIBA login page and click “Forgot my password”
Enter the email address associated with your account and submit (“Send password reset instructions”).
Check your email inbox (and spam/junk folder) for a password reset link.
Click the link in the email, this will take you to a page where you can enter a new password.
Enter your new password and confirm it, then submit.
After resetting, return to the login page and log in using your new password.
4. What You’ll Need
The email address you originally registered with CIBA (the one tied to your portal account).
Access to your email inbox (and ability to check spam/junk folders).
A new password that meets CIBA’s security criteria (if any).
Internet access and a web browser.
5. Common Mistakes to Avoid
Not checking spam/junk folder.
If you don’t see the reset email in your inbox, check all email folders.
Using an email address not tied to your account.
Use the exact email you registered with CIBA to receive the reset link.
Waiting too long, the link may expire.
Use the link promptly; if expired, start a new reset request.
